What’s CSR

CSR has no globally accepted definition though it all  falls in the three pillars namely people, planet and profits i.e. (principle)+people + planet = profits.

Therefore, Mizizi defines CSR as,”process where a company assumes responsibility across its entire supply chain, for the social, ecological and
economic consequences of the company’s activities, reports on these
consequences and constructively engages with stakeholders.”

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has over the years been embraced by organizations that seek to make a difference in the community they serve.

CSR is important as it enhances a good relationship between the organization, its clients and the community.

Through CSR, the organization continues to communicate that it is interested in the needs of its clients and the community they serve.
